Dr. Jose Borrero:
Senior Coastal Scientist/Engineer
Specialization: coastal management, hydrodynamic modeling, tsunami research and modeling
Key Qualifications: adjunct assistant professor at University of Southern California, 15 years coastal science and engineering experience, world expert in tsunami research and modeling, extensive experience in offshore structure design and coastal management, worldwide consulting engagements, dozens of published reports.

- MSc: Ocean and Coastal Engineering
- BSc: Civil and Environmental Engineering
John Oldman:
Senior Numerical Modeler/Coastal Scientist
Specialization: estuary and beach dynamics, sediment transport modeling, mixing processes, hydrodynamic modeling.
Key Qualifications: 23 years modeling experience, over 120 technical project reports, former senior scientist with NZ Government, former head of modeling at ABP Consultancy, U.K.

James Frazerhurst:
Coastal Scientist
Specialization: GIS and Marine Spatial Planning, estuary and beach dynamics, coastal adaptation.
Key Qualifications: over 10 years consulting experience, MSc in natural resource engineering, BSc in geography and environmental science.
Duncan Grant:
Numerical Modeler
Specialization: catchment hydrology, river and stormwater hydraulic modeling, coastal hydrodynamic modeling.
Key Qualifications: 12 years modeling experience in the UK and NZ. MSc and BSc in Earth Sciences.
Dougal Greer:
Numerical Modeler
Specialization: hydrographic modeling, data analysis, scientific programming.
Key Qualifications: MSc in evolutionary and adaptive systems, BSc in physics and computer science, extensive modeling experience.
Laurent Lebreton:
Numerical Modeler
Specialization: hydrodynamics, oceanography, physics, mathematics, computer programming.
Key Qualifications: MSc in engineering science and oceanography, extensive experience in data analysis, numerical modelling and marine/weather forecasting including finite difference, finite element, finite volume, smoothed particle hydrodynamics, and others.
John Hearin:
Coastal Engineer
Specialization: coastal engineering, numerical modeling, dune restoration, coastal zone management (CZM) expertise.
Key Qualifications: 20 years engineering experience, former NASA Space Shuttle engineer, adjunct professor at Florida Institute of Technology.
Andrew Moores:
Coastal Scientist
Specialization: field data collection, data analysis, wave research, physical modeling.
Key Qualifications: 10 years coastal science experience, construction manager for several Multi-Purpose Reef projects, MSc in coastal oceanography.
