ASR's 3DD suite of numerical models has been developed over 30 years of intensive research and consulting studies, proven by thousands of calibrated applications, and peer reviewed by the world's top scientists in hundreds of scientific publications. The suite's full set of marine and freshwater models can simulate all physical processes relevant to planning, management, and research of our environment. 3DD includes fully linked hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport, and dispersal models that have been applied in a broad range of physical settings from micro scale bedform development simulations through large-scale oceanographics.
ASR has a dedicated team of experienced numerical modelers drawn from select institutions and companies around the globe. These modelers have extensive experience using ASR's numerical modeling software (and other software programs) to conduct thousands of sophisticated modeling studies over the last decade. Unlike many other modeling groups, ASR's modeling team is also trained in other aspects of coastal and marine science, furthering our ability to quickly and accurately model highly complex ocean scenarios.
